A Magical Holiday Party

The DSCBA 2022 Holiday Party was back in full swing this year with Santa and his elves making a special stop at the office on Sunday, December 4, 2022.

Nearly 300 members and their families enjoyed a personal visit with Santa inside the office that had been transformed into a magical North Pole scene with snow paths, pretty lights and Christmas trees. Olaf from Disney’s Frozen movie paid a visit to entertain kids and pose for selfies while families enjoyed hot cocoa, holiday treats and a cookie decorating station!

A Holiday Boutique was open with beautiful handmade ornaments by Executive Director, Nancy LaBelle, and other gift items where 100% of proceeds benefitted the DSCBA. Self-advocate, ChristHockel, hosted a booth where she offered gorgeous hand-beaded jewelry, generously donating back to the DSCBA. A big thank you to those who donated towards the event to keep it free for attendees.

Shout out to Old Towne Danville Bakery for the coffee service, to NCL Diablo Valley Class of 2026 for staffing and baking hundreds of cookies, and to Dancing Without Limits for the entertainment.

A wonderful time was had by all.

A great holiday gift appeared when Michelle and Ryan Gill from the Rosendin Foundation stopped by to present a check for $5,000! We truly appreciate their support!

Stay tuned for our December 3, 2023 Holiday Party updates!
