2020 Affiliate of the Year

February 18, 2021

Award.JPG

DSCBA Family and Friends,

I am truly grateful to those of you that took the time to vote for the DSCBA as the 2020 Affiliate of the Year!

We were recognized last evening at a virtual conference by the Down Syndrome Affiliates in Action team who read testimonials that brought tears to my eyes.

It was humbling to receive this award amongst many of my peers across the world who are leading amazing organizations that serve tens of thousands of people with Down syndrome and their families.

This recognition says, our members feel supported, our donors understand the impact their gift makes, our peers consider us leaders and mentors, and our community believes in our mission.

2020 was a challenging year! Our amazing staff took on the challenge with great determination fueled by our member's needs.

We all miss everyone so much and cannot wait to hear the laugher and music and see smiling faces in person again when it's safe to do so.

With gratitude,

Nancy LaBelle, Executive Director
